Comb honey is so versatile… “Wow, who would have thought this works…”

Try this excellent ‘pairing’ … no pun intended.

Ingredients

  • Nduja – spicy, spreadable pork salumi from Italy
  • Queso Manchego (Semi Soft ~ 3 months aged)
  • Fresh pear
  • Fresh comb honey
  • Baguette (preferably a few days old)

Method

  • Cut baguette into 0.5 cm slices – toast slightly
  • Spread Nduja on the par-toasted slices of baguette – grill for 2 to 3 minutes to get Nduja to begin to ooze fat, drizzle honey over the toasts
  • Add Queso Manchego – grill for another minute
  • Add slice of fresh pear
  • Add piece of comb honey
  • Enjoy!
