Comb honey is so versatile… “Wow, who would have thought this works…”
Try this excellent ‘pairing’ … no pun intended.
Ingredients
- Nduja – spicy, spreadable pork salumi from Italy
- Queso Manchego (Semi Soft ~ 3 months aged)
- Fresh pear
- Fresh comb honey
- Baguette (preferably a few days old)
Method
- Cut baguette into 0.5 cm slices – toast slightly
- Spread Nduja on the par-toasted slices of baguette – grill for 2 to 3 minutes to get Nduja to begin to ooze fat, drizzle honey over the toasts
- Add Queso Manchego – grill for another minute
- Add slice of fresh pear
- Add piece of comb honey
- Enjoy!
